Work somewhere that takes care seriously

Orbis Care is a small, independent provider based in Henley-in-Arden. We invest in the people who work here, because the quality of care we deliver depends entirely on them.

Why join us

What working at Orbis actually looks like

We are not a big agency. Everyone on the team knows each other, and everyone has direct access to the management team. When something is working, we build on it. When something is not, we fix it.

Raj leads all aspects of care and staff development. She has been recognised nationally for the training culture she has built here, and the people who work for us experience that recognition as a daily reality, not just a trophy on the wall.

Real development, not just compliance

Funded qualifications, specialist learning, and dementia simulation training. We invest in your skills because it makes a difference to the people you care for.

Consistent client assignments

We assign carers to a small, consistent group of clients. You build real relationships, not just a series of unconnected visits.

A management team you can actually reach

You will not be managed remotely. Our team is local and available.

Independently recognised

What we look for in a carer

Genuine compassion is not something we can train from scratch. We are looking for people who already have it, the kind that shows in how you speak to someone, not just whether you complete the task.

Practical requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS check
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and some weekends
  • For live-in care roles: willingness to stay with a client for typically 2–4 weeks at a time

Previous care experience is welcome but not always essential. If you have worked in other roles that required genuine care for people, healthcare, teaching, or similar, and you have the right values, we would like to hear from you.

Current opportunities

We are always interested in hearing from good people, even when we are not actively advertising. If you share our values and want to work in a team that takes development seriously, get in touch.
