What makes Orbis different

There are things worth asking any care provider before you decide. Here are the honest answers for Orbis.

The case for Orbis

Eight things that matter when choosing a care provider

1. Independent, not a franchise

Orbis Care was built from scratch by Raj and Prabh Gill. Every decision is ours. No franchise playbook, no distant head office, nobody between us and the families we work with. When something needs to change, we change it.

2. The same carers, every visit

We assign a dedicated small team to each client and keep that consistent. Your loved one will build a relationship with people they know and trust, not a different face each week. Continuity is not a nice-to-have, it is how good care actually works.

3. Transparent pricing, published

We publish our rates in full before you pick up the phone. Weekday, weekend, overnight, live-in, all of it, on our Pricing page. No hidden fees. Your written care plan confirms the total weekly cost before anything starts.

4. A family app, after every visit

Relatives get real-time access to care notes, medication records, and visit summaries, updated after every visit, visible from anywhere. You do not have to call to find out if your loved one is okay.

5. ISO 9001 certified

Our quality management system is independently certified to ISO 9001. Our processes are documented, audited, and consistently applied, not dependent on any one person. Very few domiciliary care providers at our size hold this standard.

6. Warwickshire County Council contracted provider

We hold a contract with Warwickshire County Council, won through competitive procurement. That is an independently assessed endorsement of our capability, not a self-reported claim.

7. Award recognised

Stars of Social Care 2026, Highly Commended, Learning & Development. UK Enterprise Awards 2026, Excellence in Compassionate Care (West Midlands). Recognised for how we develop our team and the quality of care we deliver.

8. 9.9 on homecare.co.uk

Rated 9.9 on homecare.co.uk, one of the main independent review platforms for home care in the UK. Read our reviews.

We are local. That matters.

Orbis Care is based in Henley-in-Arden. Our carers live and work in the communities where they care, Henley, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the towns and villages around them.

When you call us, you speak to someone who knows the area. When your loved one's carer arrives, they are not travelling from a distant branch. And when something needs attention, our management team is close enough to respond directly.

National providers cover Warwickshire. We are from here.

What to ask any care provider

Before choosing a home care provider, these questions are worth asking directly:

  • Do you directly employ your carers, or use agency staff?
  • Will my loved one see the same carers every visit?
  • Do you publish your prices?
  • Can family members see care notes and medication records?
  • What quality accreditations do you hold?
  • Are you commissioned by the local authority?

Orbis employs all carers directly. We publish our prices. We assign consistent carer teams. We hold ISO 9001. We have a Warwickshire County Council contract. We have a family app with real-time care notes after every visit.

The answers are there if you ask.
